Vector 3.0 is here!

It’s finally here! The newest update to your favorite OS X audio editor!

After almost one year of development we are proud to release Vector 3.0. Not only did we re-write the whole user interface code to make it a better fit for modern Macs, we also added a huge number of new features. We focused on features that were often requested by our users.

So what’s new? Here’s the best of list:

  • Support for Audio Unit Plugins
  • Effect rack to daisy chain multiple audio effects together
  • Multi selections and selections of only one channel
  • Selections can now be moved and resized
  • Custom loop points for looped playback
  • Input/Output device selection is now possible from within Vector
  • Improved rendering performance on Retina displays
  • Support for full screen and split screen mode

The update is free for all our existing Vector 2 users and is available from the Mac App Store now!

Don’t know what Vector is? Vector is an audio editor for OS X that is designed to fit into the space between simple audio apps and full blown studio production tools. (Kinda like Cool Edit Pro for the Mac - if you are that old school).
